-- It was another
week of paint and more paint. As you can see from the photos
below, the orange wings are completed. "Radio Equipped" now
graces the sides of the short hood and the front pilot is
painted. The letter "F", which designates the front end of the
locomotive, is now properly placed on each side and I painted the
front end ladders which will be installed next week. Meanwhile,
Phil has been hard at work painting all the grab irons and hand
rails. We are down to detail work now which is a good thing
because both of us are about burned out on this project. Too much
of a good thing, I guess.
